Homeopathy is a very slow process
Homoeopathy is a science which not only palliates/relieves but CURES the ailments. It does not consider a single symptom but the entire patient/person as a whole. Unlike other pathies which gives quick results disguising the ailment’s roots within, homoeopathy works on the root cause and get the ailment cured from the base itself. It is a myth that homoeopathy is a slow process. E.g. A patient suffering from renal stones/ a skin disease from 4 years gets cured in 4 months with the help of homoeopathy. In this case, is a period of 4 yrs is longer or 4 months is longer? So it is wrong to say that homeopathy is a slow process.
The time required for the homeopathic medicines to show results depends upon the person’s condition, his period of suffering, his constitution, his regularity of taking medicines as directed by a registered homoeopath.
Homeopathy is only for chronic cases and cannot be used in acute cases of diarrhea, fever etc.
Absolutely wrong!! This is a misconception that homeopathy cannot be used in acute cases like diarrhea, fever etc. In fact, homeopathy gives quick results in acute cases, if the symptom similarity matches perfectly with the patient’s present condition.
Homeopathic treatment does not require any test
Tests may require only for diagnosis or prognosis of the disease. However, as the remedies are given on the basis of complete case taking and symptom similarity with the drug, the tests are usually not asked for, unless and until very necessary.
It is necessary to avoid coffee and onion or there are too may dietary restriction to be followed
Coffee and onion are strong stimulants and may act as antidotes for some of the homeopathic drugs. As now-a-days, it’s a part and parcel of every person’s day to day life; it is not advised to each and every patient to avoid such things. There are no such dietary restrictions to be followed in homeopathy. It may be a part of the auxiliary lines of treatment alike other pathies. E.g. Dietary restriction for a case of kidney stone or hypertension/diabetes.
Homeopathic medicines cannot be taken in conjunction with allopathy
Homeopathic medicines can be taken along with allopathic medicines after keeping a time gap between the two line of treatments, however it depends upon the ailment and its severity. For instance people suffering from diabetes or high blood pressure cannot withdraw their medicines and hence need to take the homeopathic dose in conjunction with the allopathy medicines
While in case such as a headache having a painkiller may suppress the illness, in such a scenario having a homeopathic medicines with an allopathic medicines is not suggested.
All homeopathic medicines are the same.
Although homeopathic medicines look alike, they are not the same. The basic ingredients of the medicines come from various sources of plants and animals, etc. For better results, the liquid extracts or the medicines are poured into small sugar globules which absorb the liquid. These sugar globules have a similar look but their constitution depends upon the liquid or the medicines poured on them.
Homeopathic medicines are generally very safe and effective without any side effects however it is suggested that you should not take medicines by only reading the book. For effective results it is suggested that you should consult a registered homeopathic practitioner
